yes kiddies ive got an interesting contest im trying to start up. basically what im looking for is someone to be able to come up with some creature concepts, this is for all drawing levels the art work isnt as important as the idea. here we go with the details

These creatures must realistically be of a desert/mountain climate. the weather will be harsh with plenty of sand storms and land slides.


Rules:

1) all submissions have to be in no later then may 6th 2009 and winners will be chosen on the 8th of may
2) since this is a creature concept scan it must have at least 2 or more
3) only one submission per user (this does not take away from how many creatures the size of the page does not matter)
4) all entries will be notified via note or pm of prize
5) all entries will be looked at by me and 3 other people and will have a score card to them
6) art work is not an issue this is a creative scan not a paint me a mona lisa. tho we do ask all submissions give a 1-2 paragraph explaining the creatures habits, food (whats it eat), home etc ect...

now you may have heard a score card in there well yes here is how each submission will be judged.

-originality
-creature look (ie no two arms two legs B.S)
-how well did you follow the theme guide line?
-pliable: is it be tough and used more then once?
-simplistic or complex? (more complex the better how ever simply ones will can be used just as easily)

each one section is 5 points a total of 25 points will be composed and the scores will be included on may 8th.

Prize:

all winners will get there creature ideas redrawn and rendered in 3d (i will make prints for only those winners who have asked), as well as be a main spotlight on an important secret project, which the winners will be notified of this project and will be asked if they would like to help out on the work.

of iraq is coming yayayayayayayayayayayayayay!! well many of you may have been wondering where the hell are my drawings at well i have been drawing yes. but at the moment i cant scan them as i have to pack it up and ship it back down to hawaii :] but when i get back and such hook it up i will scan them in so far i might be able to make my deadline which is coming up soon surprisingly :/ but i only have roughly six weeks left in hell YES! once i get back ill be getting my cell phone once again ;--; ive missed it so! i will post that up for anyone who would like to get it. once thats done and taken out of the way i will be starting college classes ASAP like right after leave and such so i can knock my generals out of the way then when i get out of the army i can flow right into the actual college for my degree in fine arts. and on the side note here im gathering people as off now to help me on a secret project. if your interested drop me a note there are a few rules to which you must accept before i can tell anyone what it is. pretty much going to be badass when its done :] needless to say bits and pieces will flow down as time moves on.

also i have been hearing a lot about an interesting song called crimewave by crystal castle its an interesting song. for some weird reason im addicted to the live version and idk why. you should check it out some point.

what i want to know is when is it ok to start and stop fighting for something? whens it alright to just give up? i dont have a limit. not anymore. i cant be stopped. i wont stop. ill keep going until i find my limit. the limit that breaks me...

not really just felt like an awesome title. well so far the whole drawing thing isnt going super well as planned :/ was hoping that it would be better but thats the whole reason why im doing the race to 100 thing to begin with haha. well i started working on my scanner so it should be up within the next few days. been also working on random rodent finally got the coding working properly now im just waiting on the servers to pull there heads out there asses :/ once again i must do battle with yahoo on top of that ive decided to re-do the look so once its finished it would stay as is long right now im going to finish my new da id picture hopefully before class been taking lots of pictures and going to merge them and well its a surprise of course ;] but this one will be much better then the one that im using now. and it'll be much more interesting hahahahaha. anyways back to picture taking/editing and dune. muaha!

as painful as this is going to be on me and the few people that watch me and my feeble attempts at drawing, rendering and photo manipulation im going to have to force myself to draw more and just do more of everything. well since my laptop wont let me use blender at the moment this leaves me with 2 things to play with, gimp and good ol pencil and paper. so forcefully by the april 15th i will have at least posted on this DA account over 100 new drawings and pictures. and this is going to be something that needs focus as i am still in iraq. BUT i can get it done. if i work on it.

i hate being depressed. it sucks.
