These creatures must realistically be of a desert/mountain climate. the weather will be harsh with plenty of sand storms and land slides.
Rules:
1) all submissions have to be in no later then may 6th 2009 and winners will be chosen on the 8th of may
2) since this is a creature concept scan it must have at least 2 or more
3) only one submission per user (this does not take away from how many creatures the size of the page does not matter)
4) all entries will be notified via note or pm of prize
5) all entries will be looked at by me and 3 other people and will have a score card to them
6) art work is not an issue this is a creative scan not a paint me a mona lisa. tho we do ask all submissions give a 1-2 paragraph explaining the creatures habits, food (whats it eat), home etc ect...
now you may have heard a score card in there well yes here is how each submission will be judged.
-originality
-creature look (ie no two arms two legs B.S)
-how well did you follow the theme guide line?
-pliable: is it be tough and used more then once?
-simplistic or complex? (more complex the better how ever simply ones will can be used just as easily)
each one section is 5 points a total of 25 points will be composed and the scores will be included on may 8th.
Prize:
all winners will get there creature ideas redrawn and rendered in 3d (i will make prints for only those winners who have asked), as well as be a main spotlight on an important secret project, which the winners will be notified of this project and will be asked if they would like to help out on the work.
